Understanding Diagnosis and Treatment Plans

This video from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) offers tips on how to better understand and remember what your doctor tells you.  As Dr. Matthew Memoli at NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease says, “there’s no such thing as a dumb question in the doctor’s office.”  Remember you can ask questions of anyone your doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or even the receptionist to make sure you understand the information you’re given.  Whether it’s a new diagnosis or a change in your treatment, asking questions can help make sure you’re on the right path.
